ADA Policy Statement (Disability Services)
The Americans with Disability Act (ADA is a federal anti-discrimination statute that provides comprehensive civil rights protection for individuals with disabilities. The ADA requires that all students with disabilities be guaranteed a learning environment that provides reasonable accommodations for their disabilities. Persons who choose to disclose a disability requiring an accommodation should contact the Office of Career Counseling and Disability Services, in Founders Hall, Room 304, or call 573-681-5162. This is a confidential service. Please note until enrollment with disability services is complete, requested accommodations will not be honored by faculty, and cannot be granted retroactively. Any student with a disability requiring accommodations in this course is encouraged to contact me after class or during office hours. All discussions will remain as confidential as possible.
